Center Director

The Centre Director is responsible for leading the child care centre’s culture and best practices in Early Childhood Education through overseeing the day-to-day operations and compliance of the centre, as a coach and resource for the program staff, by ensuring best practices for meeting the needs of children, by understanding the needs of families, and as a point of contact for parents.

Educators

Educators have an essential role in the Dream Start Daycare community. They are responsible for ensuring a child’s health, safety, well-being, growth and development through the purposeful implementation of a program that meets a child’s development and care needs in a responsive environment. The expectation for the Educator is to provide quality, professional, learning experiences for children and to respond to each child respectfully and thoughtfully, in collaboration with families and other Educators.  

The Assistant Director

The Assistant Director will be part of the Leadership Team working in collaboration with the Centre Director and will work alongside the Educators to mentor, coach, and lead through a model of support in the implementation of the curriculum and care of the children.

Volunteers

There are times when volunteers, such as students or parents, will be part of the program.  Volunteers will have specific roles and responsibilities which do not include being alone in the supervision of children.
